Burj Al Arab is using its iconic structure as a canvas and is offering to post pictures from users who have successfully made the cut as part of the ongoing #MyDubai online initiative.
Images are selected from #MyDubai moments shared during September and will be projected on the outside of Burj Al Arab’s sail this Thursday (25 September).
The #MyDubai initiative was launched earlier this year by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum to create the world’s first autobiography of a city. More than 1.5mn posts using the hashtag have been shared so far on Instagram.
Ammar Hilal, Burj Al Arab hotel manager, said: “This is a great community initiative and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is proud to play a pivotal role. #MyDubai has enabled us to connect, engage and evolve with our community; this is a great way for us to give back.”
