National Museum of Afghanistan brings back lost legacy

A new design proposal for the National Museum of Afghanistan has been created by architecture firm theeAe LTD to bring back the lost heritage of the country.

With a built area covering 18,000m2, the concept of the scheme was influenced by the Afghanistan flower arch.

Surrounded by nature, the proposal aims to highlight the natural environment of Afghanistan, including its open valley of mountains and bright sunlight.

Its aim to provide an emotional realm of space safeguards the heritage of Afghanistan and provides a place for rest and reflection.
