Nendo designs collection for BoConcept

Japanese studio Nendo has designed a furniture and homeware collection for Danish brand BoConcept, featuring accessories based on origami.

The thirteen-piece range named Fusion blends elements of Japanese and Danish design.

Nendo explained that “like the collection’s name suggests, we wanted to create new functions and visual effects by fusing together two different elements.”

“Our first idea was to use origami, the traditional Japanese art of bending a two-dimensional sheet of paper to make a three-dimensional object,” said the designers.
