New head of Asian studio for Benoy

Trevor Vivian II

Benoy has appointed Trevor Vivian as its new head of studio at the firm’s Asia Headquarters in Hong Kong.

He joins Benoy Hong Kong from Shanghai where he has been developing the company’s business in mainland China since 2009.

“Trevor is an important addition to our Global Board and to the strategic guidance of Hong Kong and our studios in Shanghai and Beijing. A member of our directorship team for many years, Trevor is a valued and influential leader within Benoy and has played a major role in the firm’s successful growth throughout the East over the last decade,” said Simon Bee, global design director.

Vivian’s portfolio includes Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi and the masterplan for Shanghai’s future third CBD, Lujiazui Pudong Qiantan.

He said: “Benoy is a true multi-disciplinary, global studio that continues to push boundaries.

“We are now working in more than 55 countries around the world and in more sectors than ever before – from Retail, Hospitality and Mixed-Use to Aviation and Urban Regeneration. The demand for our services has seen Benoy extend beyond Masterplanning, Architecture, Interiors and Graphic Design, to offer, for example, Product Design and Branding.”
