NovaBell tiles used in Art Hotel Kastiel renovation

The Art Hotel Kastiel near Bratislava (Slovakia) has undergone a complete restoration and renovation project with NovaBell suppling over 700 square metres of floorings and ceramic coverings.

The 18th-century Austrian Baroque-style castle belongs to the Fabian and Turac families, and was renovated by Domaz s.r.o. working to the specifications of interior designer Lucia Bobikova.

NovaBell’s collections; Absolute, Must, York-Home and Spazio made it possible to create the interiors whilst adhering to the styles, colours and finishes of the original building.

The Art Hotel Kastiel offers apartments and suites, with spacious bathrooms tiled with York, which centred around contrasting black and white, playing on glossy and matte finishes and three-dimensional features.

The public spaces of the hotel evoke the aristocratic atmospheres of bygone times using floors from the Must collection from NovaBell, creating a contemporary surface: classic chequered schemes in white, black and sand have been designed in two different square formats (30 x 30 and 45 x 45 cm) to accompany visitors from the entrance to the corridors and staircases, leading to the lounge.
