Omani hotel designed by Egyptian architect opens

Salalah beachfront

Designed by celebrated Egyptian architect Adel Mokhtar, Juweira Boutique Hotel has had its soft opening.

It is the first of five international hotel brands that will herald the Salalah Beach destination spot.

It features a striking waterfront setting and distinctive design, and its Oriental theme offers 64 guestrooms including 21 suites.

Its location on the marina promenade hosts views of Salalah’s beachfront and the Indian Ocean beyond. The guestrooms and suites are designed in a rich, yet understated manner.

Standard offers in all guestrooms are facilities such as interactive LCD television with satellite, fully-serviced mini-bar, walk-in showers, Wi-Fi internet access, IDD telephone and voicemail, tea/coffee making facilities, and 24-hour in-room dining. DVD players and PlayStation sets are available on request.

“The Juweira Boutique Hotel is quite unlike anything that Salalah has to offer on the hospitality front. With significant emphasis being placed on leisure, entertainment and quality of customer service, this property has the potential to establish itself as a high quality destination and cosmopolitan address for locals and tourists alike,” said Daniel Fanselow, general manager.
