Outdoor furniture by Patricia Urquiola inspired by architectural facades

New collection by Patricia Urquiola for Kettal

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola has recently launched an outdoor furniture collection for international manufacturer Kettal.

The designs, which express textural and visual contrasts, take their inspiration from architectural facades.

The collection, which includes a sofa and table pieces, uses industrial and natural materials that allow for tension between hard and soft, solid and perforated surfaces.

The so-called ‘mesh’ collection maintains a unifying basis, which is an expanded metal structure which further juxtaposes against the soft, plush cushions.
