The award for Large Architect Firm of the Year goes to Perkins + Will, for the second year in succession.
This award goes to the firm with more than 50 employees who the judges felt was maki9ng the most impact on the design and build industry across the Middle East.
They felt Perkins + Will “continually surpasses its own standards to deliver across the industry” when making their decision.
On receiving the award company principal and managing director Steven Charlton said: “I am ecstatic, but I’m also surprised. It has now been two years in succession that we have won this award.
“I feel that our success is down to the people who work her. We are very low on turn-over as we encourage everyone to grow in their careers and stay with us. We are also investing in the region and I think that results in people really backing us.
“We have put our roots down here and our working with universities and the wider community. We are not about just flying in and flying out.”
The company places sustainability to its forefront and all new members of staff have to be LEED certified professionals within six months of joining the workforce.
The firm said it is “proud and honoured” to win because the award reflects its contribution to the industry across the Middle East.
