Zaha Hadid reveals addition to Messner Mountain Musuem

Zaha Hadid Architects reveals new images of its Messner Mountain Museum project which presents a string of buildings dotted through the Dolomites of northern Italy.

For the sixth and last building, the architects designed  a softly curved building tunneling through the peak of Mount Kronplatz, part of the Kronplatz ski resort.

Much like the other five museum buildings, it will comprise of exhibitions exploring mountainous regions worldwide.


Construction for the project is currently underway, expected to be complete by 2014.
