Al Barari has launched an eco-friendly concept development called The Farm, which has a restaurant, on-site bakery, locally sourced produce, yoga and cookery classes.
“We want to create a hub where food, entertainment and education merge, all in an eco-friendly setting where people can enjoy themselves in this peaceful getaway and where children can play amongst the greenery,” said Maheesha Ratnayake, general manager, The Farm.
The Farm’s philosophy is ‘to serve great quality, wholesome food the way nature intended, in a relaxed and tranquil setting’. The restaurant, which can seat up to 80 people inside, is surrounded by green lawns and gardens and offers customers outdoor dining on the deck, suspended over a lake.
Al Barari is the flagship development of the property arm of Zaal Enterprise. Literally meaning ‘wilderness’, Al Barari was designed to be a true desert oasis. 80% of the development’s 14.2 million square feet is made up of green space that envelopes 189 luxury-villas.
