RTKL scoops awards for Kuwait mall and designer of the year

Global architecture firm RTKL was honoured for its design of 360 MALL in Kuwait and recognised as Designer of the Year at the Global RLI Awards in London.

The RLI awards follow on the heels of last month’s Architects’ Journal annual AJ100, which designated RTKL the Best International Practice in the UK.

Jeffrey J. Gunning, senior vice president RTKL, who accepted the International Shopping Centre of the Year Award with Mohammed Metwally and Avijit Yadav from Tamdeen Group, said: “360 MALL is the latest world-class project to represent our commitment to creating exciting, commercially successful, and memorable retail and leisure destinations.”

RTKL Director Kenneth J. Christian, who accepted the Designer of the Year award on RTKL’s behalf, said: “We never waver in designing innovative places for people to shop and spend their leisure time. We’re proud to be recognised by our clients and peers for our work, and we look to moving the industry forward in years to come.”
