Russian students scale Dubai skyscrapers

A group of Russian “urban climbers” have scaled a selection of some of Dubai’s tallest skyscrapers – including the world’s tallest residential building, the 414-metre Princess Tower.

The group posted photographs of themselves online from the top of the buildings after climbing each without the use of any safety equipment.

One of the climbers, Alexander Remnev, describes himself online as a student from Moscow, while many of his pictures show him scaling buildings and monuments in cities such as Paris, Volgograd, and Rome.

Remnev said that climbing up most of the towers in Dubai is a simple process due to their being relatively accessible.

In February, two Russian urban climbers ascended the Shanghai Tower in China, the second tallest building in the world behind Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
