Salon del Mobile 2017: Moooi presents “A Life Extraordinary”

For the fourth time, Dutch brand, Moooi has transformed its showroom at Via Savona into an immersive and mysterious exhibition space of creative luxury.

Under the theme ‘A Life Extraordinary’, this year’s presentation during Salone del Mobile, consists of different areas and rooms which all represent ideas around settings like hotels, restaurants, lobbies, offices, homes and bars.


The brand also revealed the first ever Monster Bed, designed by Marcel Wanders.


The brand collaborated with a photographer Levon Biss whose intriguing microscopic insect portraits adorn the walls.  His series of high magnification portraits captures the microscopic form of insects from the collections of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.


Mooi’s high-definition carpets are on display as well, featuring new designs by Edward van Vliet, Marcel Wanders and Noortje van Eekelen.


Bertjan Pot, Edward van Vliet, Frank Tjepkema, Joost van Bleiswijk, Kit Miles, Maarten Baas, Marcel Wanders, Neal Peterson, Luca Nichetto, Noortje van Eekelen & Rick Tegelaar have all created new designs and product extensions for both Moooi and Moooi Carpets.

The brand also created a 360 panorama view of their latest exhibition in Milan.
