A science and technology cultural centre, designed by Spain and China-based RTA Office, has been proposed for Jinan, China.

With a total building area of 21,655m², the project consists of two independent masses linked by a public square.

The square only contains one set of steps in north-centre – the rest of the circulation uses ramps to allow free movement without obstacles.

The design of the buildings is said to reflect the modern aspirations of Jinan – a city with good transportation links and a hub for software and technology.
