Returning again this year is the second edition of Piscine Middle East, the international pool & spa exhibition that will take place in Abu Dhabi from April 22- 24, paraellel to Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2014.
With the rise of hospitality and wellness projects across the Middle East, especially Dubai and Saudi Arabia, the show will draw connections between individuals across various industries.
It will include developers, contractors and service providers in equipment and pool accessories, maintenance, filtration, protection security, construction installation, outdoor living pool, as well as health and wellness in the pool industry.
This year for the first time, GL Events, organisers behind the event, will be introducing “The Pool Vision Award for 2014,” selecting outstanding swimming pool projects from around the world. The projects will be judged from technical and aesthetic standpoints, as well as water treatment, coverings, accessories and spas.
Participants from the Middle East and Asia are encouraged to actively participate in the competition as there will be a separate awarding ceremony for the Abu Dhabi projects at Petrol Middle East (PME) next month.
“The exhibitor participating in Piscine Middle East are forming part of the world leaders. Their role is to assist the local leaders by offering the latest equipment and technologies on the market and by training them to use such equipment,” said Noemi Petit, Piscine Middle East show director.
She added: “The region has seen a massive trend towards well-being experience, expanding on an established market for pool and spa equipment and facilities. The UAE itself has become a phenomenon for the sector.”
