Architects Farrells is to undertake two masterplanning schemes in the fast-growing Chinese city of Shanghai.
The projects have been planned for either side of the city’s Huangpu river with the first deal for a mixed-use site called The Springs. It will feature offices as well as retail and residential space.
On the southern side of the river, the firm is to masterplan a site in the Pudong financial district of the city to create offices along with retail and leisure space.
While it is based in London, the company also has an office in Shanghai.
