Snoop Dogg designs pop-up house for festival in Texas

Hip-hop celebrity Snoop Dogg has collaborated with holiday rental website, Airbnb to create a pop-up house during SXSW festival in Texas.

Having designed one of the three kitHAUS temporary houses to be put up during the music, film and technology festival, the rapper’s design consists of two small rooms connected by a partially covered decked terrace.

It will include a lounge glazed on two sides that open out onto another platform in front of the structure as well as an Arne Jackobsen Egg Chair and an illuminated sign that reads “BO$$”.

Snoop Dogg isn’t the only musician who has dipped his toes in design, Kanye West has also collaborated with architecture superstar Rem Koolhaas as well as Pharrell Williams who worked on an eco-treehouse research centre.
