Space age mall set for Saudi Arabia

UK consultancy Capita Symonds has unveiled  its futuristic mall design for Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

Revealed on World Architecture News, the 121,000m2 proposed development will contain three levels with key anchor stores at either end and a ‘lifestyle street’ that connects to the existing urban fabric.

The project features a sweeping glazed roof with traditional Arabic patterning. It is due for completion in 2014.
