The designs for the academies will focus on providing fresh, modern and dynamic learning environment in a contemporary urban development.

Stride Treglown’s dedicated education team adopted a concept which breaks down the building functions into legible architectural components.

At the same time modern interpretations of design elements are employed in the facades of each academy reflecting and complimenting their different character and identity.

A signature framed canopy sails over and defines the components on the focal elevation of each academy.

The designs combine materials in manners which respond to Reem Developers’ preferred palette of fresh and light colour accents, and their guidelines for ‘materials, finishes, detailing and techniques that are timeless, durable and sustainable’.

Richard Philipson, international director for Stride Treglown, commented: “The proposed schools will function as independent places of learning and should be an inspiration to the students.  In addition, we hope the designs will serve as focal points for civic architecture.”

Advanced Education Services has engaged Company for British Teachers (CfBT) as the operator for both schools.
