Super Studio brings new brands to the region

Dubai-based furniture and lighting distributor Super Studio has recently managed to secure several new brands for the UAE and GCC region from Europe and North America, which will be available in Super Studio’s new showroom in Dubai Design District.

The Bouroullec’s iconic Quilt series of feature seating, designed for Established & Sons, comes in a selection of bright, springy, high-tech stretch-fabrics that give a room an intense hit of colour.

These include a British brand Established & Sons, a lighting brand Parachilna from Barcelona, Zanotta, which is one of the largest Italian furniture brands as well as products from New York-based designer David Weeks.

“The new showroom will be opening end of 2017, showcasing a variety of our products from which we will be conducting B2B and B2C business,” says Super Studio’s founder Mohsin Jawaheri.

Complementing the existing furniture and lighting brands such as Magis, E15, Classicon, Moooi, Tom Dixon, Anglepoise, Davide Groppi and Zeitraum, Michael Anastassiades, Piet Boon and Lee Broom, Super Studio’s portfolio of brands has now increased to 25 brands.

Last year, designMENA visited Magis (one of the brands represented by Super Studio) in Italy to speak about its legacy in the market and design’s “next big thing”. Read full interview with Eugene Perazza here.
