Eco-friendly designer tiles by Christie were used in support of Tom Dixon’s Multiplex exhibition during Milan Design Week.
Multiplex was a 400m2 exhibition, created with BlackBerry PlayBook. The aim of the exhibition was to design different working environments using technology, and it included a pop-up viewing theatre, broadcasting centre, restaurant, shop and gallery.
“A visual solution provides a compelling and engaging way to invite visitors into your brand and story,” said Kathryn Cress, vice president, global & corporate marketing, Christie.
Multiplex also showcased information and pictures related to trends from all over the show using a Christie HD10K-M DLP projector. In the Science Lab, an irregular-shaped wall of 20 Christie MicroTiles displayed content powered by the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Milan Design Week took place between April 11-17, 2011 and saw over 300,000 visitors from over 150 countries.
