The first Dubai Design Week is now one month away

By featuring some of the best local and regional design talent, and welcoming the international design community, Dubai Design Week promises to be an exciting addition to the international design calendar. Held in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) and under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), Dubai Design Week is a citywide event, engaging the entire community and shining the global spotlight on the city with an extensive array of world premieres, installations and activities across the six days.


GLOBAL GRAD SHOW: THE FUTURE OF DESIGN The Global Grad Show is a platform for new design talent unlike any other. For the first time ever, recent graduates representing ten of the world’s leading design schools will come together to exhibit under one roof.

ABWAB: PUSH THE DOOR TO REGIONAL DESIGN Abwab sees six pavilions given over to designers and curators from Kuwait, Jordan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the UAE. Under the theme of Games: The Element of Play in Culture, it will celebrate the MENASA region’s diverse creative thinking.

DESTINATION: DISCOVER NEW GLOBAL DESIGN Destination is a partnership with six international design weeks to showcase innovative young brands from six global cities – Beijing, Helsinki, Istanbul, Melbourne, Mexico City and San Francisco.
