The Ritz-Carlton Astana opens in Kazakh capital

The Ritz-Carlton has opened the doors of its first hotel in the capital of Kazakhstan, located in the Talan Towers, a contemporary mixed-use development owned by Verny Capital Group.

Inspired by Astana’s well-known landmark, the Baiterek monument, the Ritz-Carlton, Astana features 157 guest rooms, including 32 suites, and 27 residences, all of which offer city views, a club lounge on the 14th floor, a dedicated club concierge, and culinary presentations throughout the day.

Three new restaurants feature in the hotel. Adjacent to the main entrance, Өzen offers a selection of organic produce, while Mökki is an all-day dining restaurant. Selfie Astana, the newest creation of the Russian-based restaurant group White Rabbit Family, will offer fine dining from the 18th floor. The White Rabbit family was founded in 2011 by Boris Zarkov and its brand chef is Vladimir Mukhin, whose concept White Rabbit has been listed in World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

A spa retreat will also offer an array of treatments and spa packages that include seasonal offerings and signature treatments. Spa amenities include a dry and steam sauna and swimming pool, with a fitness studio adjacent to the spa. Additionally, The Ritz-Carlton, Astana showcases a 1,000 square meter ballroom and additional meetings rooms.
