Top British firms vying to design Qatar school

Five UK architecture firms, including Broadway Malyan, have been shortlisted to design a new college campus in Doha, Qatar.

Managed by Aecom’s Davis Langdon, the project calls for an entirely new campus for Doha College, a British curriculum school established in 1980.

The other shortlisted companies are Penoyre & Prasad, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Jestico & Whiles and RHWL.

The client’s brief calls for a distinctly British school that is suited to the region’s culture and climate.
