The Sharjah-based Barjeel Art Foundation is collaborating with the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto on an exhibition of contemporary art.
The announcement of this collaboration was by the director of the Aga Khan Museum director Henry Kim and founder of the foundation, Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi said the display will open on July 25 and run until November.
The museum is devoted to the arts of the Islamic world and opened in 2014.
Al Qassemi said: “We are very pleased to be working with the Aga Khan Museum on our first show in North America. It is a great opportunity to showcase the creativity of artists in the region to a wider, international audience.”
