Turkish firm unveils Istanbul tower complex

Turkey and Spain-based Salon2 has revealed its design for a complex of residential towers in the Fikirtepe area of Istanbul.

Covering an area of 350,000m2, Platea Residences contains stepped gardens that climb up the sides of the towers at ground level.

The scheme also contains a leisure centre, shopping facilities, restaurants and extensive green areas.

Salon2’s design is part of an invited competition. Formed in 2006, the firm has offices in both Istanbul and Barcelona.
