London-based PLP Architecture has announced the opening of a new regional office in Qatar.
The office, which will be based in Doha, is a joint venture between the UK firm and Al-Attiyah Architectural Group Holding.
It will bost PLP’s presence in the Middle East, where it is already working in several projects including new buildings at the new $7.4bn Doha New Port project.
PLP Architecture was founded in 2009 and is run by a group of architects including Lee Lee Polisano, David Leventhal, Karen Cook and Ron Bakker, who had previously run KPF’s London office for over 20 years.
Internationally, the company is working on projects in China, South America and Europe. It is also working on several projects in London including the redevelopment of victoria Circle and a new office building for Grosvenor, which will sit on top of a new Crossrail station at Bond St West.
