Carolin Bos, co-founder and principal urban planner of Dutch-based architecture firm, UNStudio, will be giving a lecture at the American University of Sharjah on Tuesday 9th of October 2012 at 5.00 pm.
The lecture, entitled ‘UnStudio Looking for Trouble’ is organised by the College of Architecture, Art and Design (CAAD) and will take place in the CAAD lecture hall and is open to the public.
Working alongside Ben van Berkel, principal founder of UNStudio, Bos’s talk will be focusing on the concept of the ‘question behind the question,’ which is a constant at the basis of the firm’s body of work.
Bos has taught at various institutions including the Academy of Architecture in Arnhem, Liverpool University, the Vienna University of Technology and the Berlage Institute in Amsterdam.
She has also been a visiting lecturer at Princeton University and has co-authored numerous UNStudio publications.
