Architectural artist Eric Peyret will be exhibiting his work this month in the Fann-A-Porter Gallery in the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.
Born in Pau, France in 1964, Peyret is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Decorative Painting in Paris, who became interest in graphically representing buildings and the urban landscape in the late 1990s.
He views urban life through the imagining of an “ideal city during the Renaissance”, adding colour, atmosphere and balance without necessarily having the presence of people.
Peyret intends his work to show the city as an “objective object of beauty “in which one can travel between shapes, spaces, lights and shadows and through horizontal and vertical dimensions. His work is tribute to people and the culture in which they live.
The exhibition opens on Sunday July 6.
