Vintage furniture to be exhibited in Dubai

The Odd Piece will launch its vintage-themed furniture range in The Atrium, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from the 10th until the 13th of January, selected and curated by Saudi-born Arwa Hafiz (pictured).

With a passion to own a home accessories boutique, Hafiz started The Odd piece last year, spending the best part of the year travelling and sourcing furniture from across the globe in preparation for the upcoming launch.

She often collects design pieces that are in a state of disrepair, later restoring them to their former glory in addition to a personal, modern touch.

Hafiz uses vibrant fabrics including silk, satin, prints, and colour to create a refreshed and modern look to the designs. Her particular passion is vintage pieces from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

The Odd Piece will showcase over 120 objects from its overall collection, in addition to accessories such as Turkey pottery and a number of masterpiece mirrors.
