Visitor numbers to Burj Khalifa on the up


The observation deck at the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, saw over 1.87m visitors in 2013.

Visitors to the outdoor observatory, located on Level 124 increased 13%, up from 1.66m visitors the previous year.

International tourists accounted for over half of all visitors.


Germans comprised the most number of international tourists at 23%, followed by visitors from the UK at 15% Russia and India both 11% US 10%. Others came in the main from Saudi Arabia, Australia, Italy, China, France and the Netherlands.
