The Madinah Secretariat revealed that five new parks have been completed in the Saudi city of Madinah, place around different districts and covering over 75, 000m2.
Khalid bin Abdilqadir Tahir said that the five parks are expected to be opened to the public by the second week of Ramadan.
He also added that the Madinah Municipality had taken account the homogeneous distribution of the parks’ sites as well as their geography and neighbourhood population.
He said that each residential area would have a garden with a section for young adults and one for families.
Tahir also revealed plans for more parks to be built in the city with contracts already drawn up to proceed as well as a number of renovations planned for existing parks.
