World’s biggest architect buys Seattle office

Aedas, the world’s biggest architecture firm according to Building Design’s World Architecture 100, has bought the Seattle office of US collaborator Davis Brody Bond.

The office, which had previously be operating as Davis Brody Bond Aedas, has become a full Aedas studio.

The Seattle office is the practice’s 33rd studio and second in the US, with another in Los Angeles.


In the Middle East, Aedas has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain and most recently Riyadh.

Last month the practice celebrating winning an Innovation Award from CTBUH for its Al Bahar Towers in Abu Dhabi (pictured).
