Palais Bulles — or the “Bubble Palace” as it is better known — in Cannes, France, is the most expensive property for sale in the world with an asking price of $455 million.
Designed by the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag and built between 1975 and 1989 it is on the market via Christie’s International Real Estate.
Its striking futuristic architecture is designed to look like a cluster of bubbles.
Once owned by the fashion designer Pierre Cardin, the eccentric 10-bedroom abode has a spherical living room and vast gardens complete with swimming pools and ponds
The 1,200m2 mega-complex comes with three swimming pools, luxurious gardens, an amphitheatre that seats 500 and spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
