yoo, global design brand has announced the launch of a major development in Moscow.
Developed by renowned Russian developer Barkli Corporation, and designed by yoo inspired by Starck, Barkli Park will offer 130 luxury apartments set within two towers.
Located within the heart of Moscow next to Ekaterininskiy Park, the development will offer residents the best in holistic accommodation. With a focus on lifestyle at the core of its design with indoor winter gardens, outdoor roof terraces and communal spaces.
“Moscow is a vibrant city that has long had an appreciation for unique design. Barkli Park seeks to not only provide luxury living, but also contribute towards the wellbeing of residents and enhance their lifestyles,” said John Hitchcox, chairman, yoo.
“Philippe has the ability to conceptualise exactly what the market currently requires, as he has done to great effect with Barkli Park.”
Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2012, a key focus of the design scheme has been incorporating natural elements, with the changing of seasons and the outdoors being key inspirations.
The lobby spaces are designed to have the effect of sunlight being reflected on powdered snow while sheer fabric curtains line the space with an applied graphic of silver birch trees.
The apartment interiors have been designed to focus on four characteristic ‘yoo inspired by Starck’ styles: Classic, Culture, Minimal and Nature.
