Zaha Hadid Architects complete London’s Serpentine Sackler Gallery

Prominent international architect firm Zaha Hadid Architects has recently designed the expansion of London’s Serpentine Gallery, with the opening set for 28 September.

The latest section is housed in a 2000-year old former gunpowder store, standing at a brief five-minute walk from the main gallery.

ZHA created an undulating white canopy that extends outward from the side of the Grade II listed building.

The extension includes a gallery, restaurant and social space.
