Urban and interior design studio Zaro Architects is set to open its new office in Dubai’s creative hub, d3, this week.
Established in 2010 in Cairo, Egypt, the company specialises in retail, food and beverage, hotel and leisure, healthcare, commercial, residential and temporary structures.
Founded in Cairo, Egypt, Zaro Architects has Arabic roots and prides itself on knowledge of the region.
“Being passionate about design is at the heart of what we do at Zaro, and it’s great to be opening within the cutting-edge, creative community at d3,” said Hazem Al Zaro, founder and principal.
“Dubai was a clear choice for our expansion, mainly due to its position at the forefront of intricate design and development. It is our aim to bring lively and recreational projects to the UAE and GCC countries, and we are excited about what we will achieve here.”
Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, chief operating officer at d3, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Zaro Architects to d3. As a design district, we are fully committed to supporting the development of the region’s design industry and the opening of Zaro Architects further positions d3, and Dubai, as a key centre for the architecture industry in the Middle East.”
The launch event will take place on Wednesday 15 February and will include an introduction to the studio, featuring a walk-through gallery of architectural designs that showcase the creative process and the Zaro team’s methods of work.
