His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, chairman of TCA Abu Dhabi, says: “A living embodiment of Emirati identity, Zayed National Museum, a national museum designed to tell the story of the UAE, will provide a location for UAE nationals to share with the rest of the world; a symbol of a proud heritage and a space that tells the story of leadership, strong will and creative development.”
The talks will start in Janurary and continue until May 2015, with the opening talk on 27 Januray entitled ‘How a National Museum Reflects National Identity’.
Zayed National Museum is set to celebrate the coming together of the Emirates as well as their modern transformations under the guidance of Sheikh Zayed. THe museum will also allow visitors to admire a collection of art and artefacts from ancient and living cultures of the UAE and greater Middle East.
